Jamia Millia Islamia is a most popular and oldest public central university located in South Delhi. It was established at Aligarh in 1920. In Arabic language, Jamia means 'University', and Millia means 'Community'. JMI University has got the Affiliations from UGC, NAAC and AIU. JMI Recognizing its contributions in the field of teaching, research and extension work. JMI University PH D Admission

JMI Invited applications for Ph D registration for the academic year 2013-14 in various courses through entrance exam. Candidates who qualified CSIR NET/ UGC NET/ GATE/ SLET / Regular M Phil are exempted from the entrance exam. The Interested candidates check the more details in the below.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the Master’s degree examination from recognized university with minimum 55% marks in the subject of his/her interest.
How to apply: The Application form and Prospectus can be downloaded from official website of Jamia Millia Islamia University. The filled application form along with demand draft of Rs. 1000/- in favor of 'Register, Jamia Milla Islamia payable at Delhi / New Delhi.
